The Landings at Skidaway Island
The Landings at Skidaway Island is one of Savannah's most recognized island communities. It's an award-winning, planned development that provides its residents a distinctive island lifestyle with access to amenities you'd expect to find at some of the world's finest resorts.
One of the first things you'll notice, as you enter the gated community, is the nature trails. The 4,500-acre development has over 40 miles of trails that are frequented by walkers, runners, bikers, and golf carters. You'll also see many spacious parks (including one for man's best friend). And Skidaway Island State Park is just around the corner from The Landings community.
Six Championship Golf CoursesIf you love to play golf, the beauty of the six golf courses with championship layouts will mesmerize you. Here's how Links Magazine describes the community:
"This 4,500-acre private community offers Low country golf that is so scenic and natural that all six courses have been designated as Audubon Cooperative sanctuaries. And the courses are as challenging as they are scenic …"
Three Tennis Centers and Two MarinasIf you enjoy tennis, you'll also find three tennis centers and 34 courts to choose from. And, if boating and fishing are your passion, you'll be able to dock your boat and launch out from one of the two deep-water marinas -- whenever the urge hits you. Remember, you're living on an island and some of the intracoastal's most pristine river ways are only steps from your home.
